The Mountain Medicine Symposium has been designed for medical professionals tasked with patient care in the Austere Mountain Frontier environments. Come early and participate in pre-conference activities including Technical Rope Rescue Workshop and enjoy the many outdoor recreation activities that Silverton has to offer.
Depending on the day you attend your registration includes lectures, keynote address, all small group sessions, syllabus, evening receptions and social hours.
Once you register you may receive an email asking which small group tracks you would like to attend. Please note that space may become limited in certain classes.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education through the joint providership of the Wilderness Medical Society and The Mountain Medicine Institute LLC. The Wilderness Medical Society is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The Wilderness Medical Society (WMS) designates this educational activity for a maximum number of 17.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Each physician should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Paramedics and EMT’s receive Continuing Education credits approved through the State of Colorado and the State of New Mexico.
